 Girls Clinched All Top 6 Positions of BIEK Inter Part 2 Humanities Group Annual Exams 2014 

Karachi is big city and have 30 million population. Unlike Punjab board, Karachi Board work separately. BIEK (Board of Intermediate and education Karachi) is responsible for exams, date sheet, fees schedule, roll no. slips and results of 11^th and 12^th class. BIEK is responsible for intermediate part 1 and part 2 all education matters. BIEK Karachi controls art groups, general science groups, computer studies, information technologies, science groups, pre medical group, non medical group, stat group, math group, commerce group and humanities group. All these groups part 1 and part 2 exams and result is controlled by BIEK Karachi. BSEK Karachi is responsible for 9^th and 10^th class registration, fees schedule, exams date announcement, date sheet announcement, exams conduction, practical exams conduction and results announcement. This board controls arts group, science group, medical group, non medical group, general science group, computer group, information technology group, commerce group and technical education groups.

Like every year BIEK Karachi conducted exams in the month of april and may and practical in the month of may and june. Like every year result has been announced after three months period. Students have get marks according to their preparations. Today we are discussing top position holders of this board.

Board of Intermediate Education Karachi has announced the result of Intermediate Humanities group for the year of 2014. This year a large number of Karachi board boys and girls students appeared for Inter hssc Part 2 annual examination 2014. All top six positions went to girls. DA Degree College for Women, Phase VII got 3 positions.

According to the declared result Ashna Aslam from Government Girls Inter College grabbed first position by securing 83.45% marks (918 marks). Tarifa Khan of Zubair Public Higher Secondary School get 2nd position with 884 marks and Sania Sohail of DA Degree College for Women grabbed 3rd position by securing 883 marks.

Two students from DA Degree College Kanza Farrukh and Mahnoor Anjum got 4th while Mariyam  Zehra Zaidi from the same college and Hafiza Hareem Fatima from Iqra Huffas Girls College, block, North Nazimabad securing 6th position B got 4th & 5th positions.

Talking to the media first position holders Ashna said that "I am satisfied with the current education system as it is  more transparent. Still there is room for improvement in the course and syllabus".

Beside this in private humanities group top 3 positions also clinched by girls. Saba Idress stood first with 905 marks, warda Farid Khan was second with 880 marks while 3rd position grabbed Nazia Bano with 870 marks. 

In the special candidates regular group for humanities, the first position hold Mohammad Saleem of Ida Rieu School & College for Deaf with 995 marks, Syed bilala Asif of Dewa High Secondary School obtain 2nd position with 980 marks while Batool Ashfaq from Dew Higher Secondary School stood third with 972 marks.

Board of Intermediate Education Karachi Chairman Anwar Ahmed Zai said that "there is nothing simple or easy about arts and humanities so there are nit be taken lightly, too"

BIEK control the exams of intermediate part 1 and part 2 both private and regular students. This board is responsible of conduction of exams, announcement of date of exams, date sheet release; roll no. slip issue on time, fees schedule and preparation and announcement of result. BIEK (Board of Intermediate Education Karachi) control the population of over 30 million and produce best result. It is always in struggle for the betterment of education. Like every year, this year BIEK (Board of Intermediate Education Karachi) also conducted exams of intermediate part1 and part 2 in the month of May and practical in the month of june. Now this is the time board is going to release its result after the gap of three months. BIEK (Board of Intermediate Education Karachi) is responsible for arts group, science group, general science group, commerce group, computer group, information technology group, math group, physical education group, medical group, non medical group and telecommunication networking group for conduction of exams and results preparations. This board is also responsible for conduction of examinations and results announcements in time both in private and regular students.

BIEK (Board of Intermediate Education Karachi) has announced the result of both private and regular commerce group of intermediate part II annual examination 2014. The board has also distributed prizes to all top position holders 2014 on Thursday 11th September 2014. At the ceremony BIEK Chairman Anwar Ahmed Zai proclaimed the named of position holders and distributed the prize.

As per the result statistics a total of 34, 316 regular candidates appeared for examination, of which 18, 818 were male and 15, 498 were female. The overall pass percentage was 40.7 %. Private candidates overall pass percentage was 25.36 . In which a total of 9,192 candidates participated for annual examination of which 6, 460 were male while 2, 732 female candidates. 

In the regular students, Ashish Kumar of Institute of Business Education got 1st position by securing 930 marks with an A-1 grade, The second position grabbed Malika Akber of Institute of Business Education with 928 marks (84.36 %) and Kiran Jabeen of Khursheed Government Girls College Shah Faisal Colony got 3rd position as she secured 921 marks with 83.73 percent. Talking about external candidates positions, first position grabbed Warisa Aslam with 844 marks with 76.76 percentage. The second position was obtained Kanwal Nawazish as she secured 824 marks with 74.9 percentage and Ruba Shafeeq bagged thirs position by securing 812 marks with 73.8 percent.

BIEK Chairperson Anwer Ahmed Zai said that the private and regular candidate pursue commerce education at the intermediate level exceed the number of combine candidates in the premedical and pre engineering groups. BIEK (Board of Intermediate Education Karachi) is successful for the increase number of candidates in the field of commerce and business studies.

We have been observing this trend for the last five years, which reflect the students' growing interest in commerce and business related studies and professions," professor Anwer Ahmed Zai. :But the public colleges, despite this massive inflow of students, seem to be failing in term of academics and individual attention".
