The Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education, Sargodha was created in 1968 under the West Pakistan Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (Multan and Sargodha) Ordinance No. VII of 1968, with the ward of Sargodha and Rawalpindi Civil Divisions. It began its capacities in distinctive leased structures in Sattelite Town, Sargodha. It was moved in the present yard in 1975. The Present Campus of BISE sargodha board is placed Near 49-Tail, Faisalabad Road, Sargodha. The BISE, Sargodha was bifurcated and a different Board (BISE Rawalpindi) was secured for the civil division of Rawalpindi in 1978. Hence it was again bifurcated and a different Board (BISE Faisalabad) for the civil division of Faisalabad was secured in 1988.at Present Jurisdiction of Bise,sargodha are Sargodha, Khushab, Mianwali and Bhakkar areas.
