Sargodha Board was created in 1968 under the West Pakistan Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (Multan and Sargodha) Ordinance No. VII of 1968. It began its operations in diverse borrowed structure in Sattelite Town, Sargodha. Later, It was transferred in the current campus in 1975. The current campus is located near 49-Tail, Faisalabad Road, Sargodha. The BISE, Sargodha was divided and a split Board (BISE Rawalpindi) was founded for the public partition of Rawalpindi in 1978. Consequently, over again it was divided and a separate Board (BISE Faisalabad) for the civil division of Faisalabad was established in 1988.
