Punjab university is the oldest and largest university of the Pakistan. It is one of the greatest university of the world. It was formed in 1882 by the British government. The university has started many programs for the undergraduates, graduates and post graduates. The board has many sub campuses in Gujranwala, Jhelum and Khanpur. The sub campus in Kasur is on underway. A large number of institutions are affiliated with the university. University has 13 faculties and 63 departments. The university has introduced the many latest and well known subjects for the specialization at masters level and bachelors level. The university facilitate to the students with many kinds. It give opportunity to the students who fail in examination to improve their grades by appearing in the examination of supplementary.

Punjab university is the authoritative body which is functioning for the bachelors and masters level students. The university conducts the examination for the graduates students every year in the month of March or April. All the students who wants to participate in the annual examination of bachelors they register them before the three months from the examination. In this year the university completed the bachelor registration process at the end of February. The examination of the B.A/B.Sc is expected in the month of April. Exams will be start from the first week of April. The date sheet of these exams will declare in the month of March. Usually one month ago the university announce the date sheet for the exams. Date sheet for the B.Com will be issued in the month of April. The university has divided the students of bachelors in the different categories which are Bachelors in arts, Bachelors in Science, Bachelors in Computer Science and Bachelor in General Science. Students can choose one group according their taste. University announces the date sheet of all these groups at the same time.
