PEC conducts the examination of class 5th in the Faisalabad and all others boards of Punjab. The Punjab education commission came into being in 2005 and conducted the exams in 2006 first time. It is the main duty of the PEC is to conduction of the examination for the grade 5th and 8th since 2006. PEC Faisalabad board conduct the 5th class examination in the third week of the February. The last date of the registration for the examination was 10th October. The date sheet of these examination was issued at the first week of the month. The board then issued the roll no slips to the all register candidates nearly one week ago from the examination. The board of the Faisalabad usually takes one month to prepare the result of these examination. It is expected that result will be announce at 31st of the March.
The Faisalabad board is one of the important board of the Punjab. It was established in 1988. PEC Faisalabad hold the districts of Jhang, Chiniot, Toba Tek Sing and Faisalabad. In all of these cities the thousands of the children participate in these examination. In this year the subjects of Urdu, English, Islamiat, Science and Mathematics were included in the examination. The PEC regulates the quality and modern education standard in the 36 cities of the Punjab at the primary level.
